History Of Ayodhya Ram Mandir 

Ayodhya Ram Mandir first became public in the 1980s when the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and other groups launched a campaign for constructing the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir. Gradually, in 1989, the VHP won the land of Ram Janmabhoomi. 

In 2019, the Supreme Court of India handed over the disputed land to a trust for the construction of Ram Mandir. The trust is also known as Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, and in 2020, it started its construction works on Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi.  

Ayodhya Ram Mandir Inauguration & Opening Date

The construction of Ram Mandir is still in progress and it will be permanently open to the public from January 2024. The construction started on 5th August 2020, and the officials of the trust informed that the expected opening date of Ayodhya Ram Temple will be the mid-week of January 2024 after the inauguration on 22nd January 2024. 

The Inauguration date for Ayodhya Ram Mandir is 22nd January 2024 after its completion. It will be inaugurated by our Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, in the presence of other delegates. After the inauguration, registration and booking of tickets will be accessible and people can book their registered tickets for visiting the temples.

Ayodhya is the birthplace of Lord Rama, the 7th incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and is considered one of the most pious places in India. Almost 18,000 crores INR is the estimated cost of the Ayodhya temple construction. The Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, the owner of the Ram Mandir, conducts the construction of Ram Mandir. The total area of the Mandir is 2.7 acres with a height of almost 360 ft.

Best Time To Visit Ayodhya

Summer:

Ayodhya observes occasional heat waves and loos during April and May. The optimal temperature during this time in Ayodhya is around 43°C during the day and 32°C at night. So specifically, it is not the preferred time to visit Ayodhya during this time. If anyone has a keen interest in visiting Ayodhya Ram Mandir during this season, then they should carry proper light clothes to prevent the scorching heat waves.

Monsoons:

Monsoon brings a slightly cooler temperature during June and July, with lighter showers and appropriate rainfalls. How To Reach Ayodhya

Ayodhya is situated in the center of  UP and has various connections through railways, buses, and flights. Tourists can reach there via road, trains, and airways. 

By Air:

The Faizabad Airport is the nearest and closest to Ayodhya, with a distance of 8.2 KM from the center of the city. Apart from this airport, tourists can take flights up to Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow, and from there, they can traverse through private cars. Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport has more frequent flight availability than other airports. Therefore, traveling from Lucknow to Ayodhya mandir is more convenient. 

By Road:

The other cities of Uttar Pradesh are linked with Ayodhya.
